The Chinese company Xiaomi is known for its affordable smartphone. Now this company has launched two new feature phones Qin1 and Qin1s. The company has launched the new handset under the UPin crowdfunding platform. In common feature phones, the user gets voice calls and messaging support. But Xiaomi’s Qin1 and Qin1s come with many advanced features. These feature phones have real time multi-lingual voice translation support. It comes with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Xiaomi Qin1s 4G is equipped with connectivity. Both variants are currently available on the funding of 199 Chinese yuan (around Rs 2,000). These feature phones have been launched at a time when the popularity of the 4G feature phones in the Indian market is increasing. At the moment, it is not clear whether these feature phones from Xiaomi will be launched in India or not.

Xiaomi Qin1, Qin1s Price

Xiaomi Qin1 and Qin1s have been made available for pre-order at 199 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 1,990) at Yupin in China. These features will be made available in the market from September 15. Phones will be available in black and white.

Xiaomi is the most important feature of these two features: Real Time Translation Feature. There is support for 17 languages ​​in Xiaomi Qin1 and Qin1s. About the phone, the translation has been claimed based on machine learning. There is built-in infrared blaster. Phone remote control will also work on its own. The handset has a USB Type-C port. Probably this hardware is rarely given in the feature phone.

 

Xiaomi Qin1 and Qin1s have 2.8 inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) IPS display. The phone is equipped with a 1480 mAh battery. It has been claimed for standby time of up to 15 days or talk time of 420 minutes. The phone has a T9 keypad in Xiaomi and D-Pad is available for navigation. The feature phone has an alarm clock and weather repo function. The dimensions of both phones are 132×53.8×8.5 millimeters.

 

Dual-SIM (Nano) Xiaomi Qin1 runs on Nucleus. It uses dual-core mediatech MT 6260 A processor. It has 8 MB RAM and inbuilt storage is 16 MB. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type-C ports are provided for connectivity in the handset.

 

The 4G variant of this phone will be known as Xiaomi Qin1s. It runs on Android-based Mokro5. It has a dual-core AC 9820E chipset. Along with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB storage is provided. The phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C connectivity.
