Toilet Film Story
It is a Shree Narayan Singh’s satire film that is inspired by a Govt. scheme, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The story of the film highlights major issues like importance of hygiene in rural areas. The tale starts with Keshav (Akshy Kumar)’s motto ‘Biwi Pass Chahiye to Ghar Me Sandass Chahiye’. The boy, the son of a Manusmriti-following Brahmin, gets married recently whereof he had waited of a long time of 36 years because of his Manglik Dosh. To neutralize this dosh, before he had to married with a buffalo. It creates a pathetic condition that makes you laugh.
After the marriage, his wife Jaya Joshi (Bhumi Pednekar) opens up that there is not toilet in her husband’s house. She gets angered and leaves the home on the first day of their marriage as she against defecation in open. To get back his wife, he fights with Government to build toilets in his village.

Toilet Movie Review
Talking about the Akshay’s acting, as we all know, He has been showing his acting skills in the all Neeraj Pandey’s past movies such as Special 26, Baby, Rustom etc. Akshay is well known actor that makes his role animate by his strong acting skills. In this movie, he plays a villager’s role, who fights others for his wife. Apart from this, Bhumi is raising star in the B-Town. She has worked in the ‘Dum Laga ke Haisha’ 2015. In this movie, you will look her traditional wife’s role, who is against conservatism in the male-dominated society such as wearing head covering and open defecation.
Here we are describing about the Divanshu Sharma who worked in ‘Pyar ka Panchnama’ movie. His acting is also good. Anupam Khair is appeared for a while in the film.
The movie is directed by the Shree Narayan Singh. The first half is taut and strong. But, you might be disappointed by seeing second half as the film becomes little bit preachy after interval. Although, it can also be estimated, because the subject of the film is the same. In other words, the second part disappointment you sometimes.
Why You See Toilet
You can go this weekend for this movie for once. A lot of comedy scene is loaded in first part such as when Akshay marries with a buffalo to remedy of maanglik dosh and it creates a pathetic condition that makes you laugh. Apart from this, the movie has a very beautiful message that attracts audience in to cinema halls.
