Realme 2 Design

Like Realme 1, Realme 2 has a fiberglass body. Glossy diamond-cut design is given on the back panel of the handset. There is a 15 tangent plane curve on the back of the smartphone, which differentiates the light from different ways. Due to having fiber glass, scratches and fingerprints fall easily on the back panel. There is a Nokia display on front panel, Realme 2’s borders are quite thin compared to the counterweight handsets in the market. Although the Realme 2 frame might be of plastic, but the phone is very strong. On the back panel you will get a dual rear camera setup and fingerprint sensor for security has been given. Company name Realme is written on the back panel. As we have already told you that Realme has separated from Oppo and now has become a separate brand. This is the reason that Oppo’s logo was present on the back panel of Realme 1, which you will not find in Realme 2.realme 2 design

There is no fingerprint sensor on the back panel for security in Realme 1. Face detection technology has been used in this handset. After feedback from customers, the company has added the fingerprint sensor in Realm2. Sadly, the fingerprint sensor present in Realme 2 works slowly and for the first time, we got the problem of registering fingerprints. Like Realme 1, face recognition is also available in Realm 2, it works very well but it does not prove to be as effective in low light.

On the left side of Realme 2 there is a button and a SIM tray to increase and reduce voice. If you want you can put two Nano SIM and one MicroSD card. The power button is given on the right side of the phone. But the button is quite small but it is also quite hard, which can cause you some difficulty in pressing it. A single loudspeaker has been provided with Micro-USB port. The first cell on the handset was on September 4th, it will be found in Diamond Red and Diamond Black Color. We have a black color variant for the review, as you can see in the photos. Diamond Blue variants will be available from October.

Realme also added the ‘Noch Full Screen Multitasking’ feature in the handset. This feature shows the shortcuts to recently used apps. Closes the notification and also gives a start screen recording option on the side of the Nokia.

Realme 2 Battery Power

The Realme 2 has a battery of 4,230 mh which comes with ‘Ai Power Master’. Because of the dim, low-res display and snapdragon 450 processor, the battery life of Realme 2 is quite good. In the HD Video Loop Test, Realme 2 backed up 17 hours and 30 minutes. 40-50 percent of the battery was present even when the phone was used normally throughout the day. In the retail box, you will get a 10-watt Standard Charger of the Oppo brand, which is capable of charging the phone in 3 hours full.

The rear camera is capable of right clicking the photo when it is light enough. The portrait taken during portrait shot is average, while the picture taken at night appeared blurry.

Artificial Intelligence Selfie camera easily detects skin tone, skin type, age, gender. Realme claimed that there are 8 million beauty reference points in their database. Realme 2’s front camera picks up fine light in a sufficient light, while the quality of the photo in low-light is not as good. The sensor software in the phone is capable of capturing Bokeh shot with the help of algorithms. We did not like the realty’s AI beautification feature because it gives watercolor-like effects in the photo. The phone’s rear and front camera can do video recording at 1080p.

Verdict: Opt or Not?

Realme 2’s battery life, unique design, MicroSD card slot and build quality are great. The phone’s performance, the display is fine, while the camera provides the average quality in the photo. The fingerprint sensor on the back panel works at a slow speed. If you are looking for smartphones in this budget range, Cheap Variants of Xiaomi Redmi 5 (Review) and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 are a better option. Sales of Realme 1’s most variants were discontinued when Realme2 was launched. Please tell that the value of this variant of Realme 1 was 8,990 rupees. If you can increase your budget a bit, then we recommend that you buy cheap variants of Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. Apart from this, you can buy 4 GB / 64 GB Variants of Realme 1. The price of this handset is Rs 10,990. This variant comes with more powerful and high resolution display than Realme 2.
