The American firm Moto has upgraded its flagship Moto G5 in to Moto G5 Plus. The company has unveiled its two latest Moto G series, Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5S Plus at the recently MWC trade show 2017. Both the models are fourth generation and updated with latest technology smartphones. The mobiles have different screen size but they have almost identical features.

Motorola, which is now a Lenovo-owned company, has launched Moto G5 Plus at a smart price tag of Rs 16,999 in February.  But now Moto G5 Plus (32GB, Lunar Grey)Moto G5 Plus is available at only Rs 14,999 in India.

 

In terms of design and hardware, Lenovo’s brand Motorola has introduced something new in this smartphone. From all these impressions, the Moto G5 Plus has become much better than the previous smartphone of this series. But what would be the right to upgrade to G5 Plus? Is it better than Shaomi and Honor? The company brought four generations of Moto G series and the Moto tries to bring a brilliant design with its every model. But, the buyers loved only the Moto G as this series comes with high end specifications and an affordable price tag. The Moto G (Gen 2) and Moto G (Gen 3) came with conscious design, but Moto G4 series got with some special features including a fingerprint scanner and metal body.

 

It is single hand operation phone as its power and volume buttons are located at the right side. And at the bottom of the phone, 3.5mm audio jack and Micro-USB port are featured. You can hold the phone in the hand comfortable as it comes with rounded edges.

Now the Moto has presented its fifth generation as Moto G5 Plus that comes with an aluminium finish, and the big sceen. The design of Moto G5 Plus looks stunning from the front, and in our opinion, is a huge improvement over its predecessors. The phone is equipped with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a full-HD resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 424 pixels per inch. The display is protected by the corning gorilla glass. The size of screen is enough for the videos, movies and games with a great viewing angle and its sunlight is also decent.

This processor is coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and the same software has been used in its rivals such as Xiaomi Redmi Note and Lenovo P2. The Phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

You can watch the HD video around 12 hours and 10 minutes of continuous playback that’s amazing. Seriously, you will get impressed with the TurboPower charging functionality of Moto G5 Plus charger. If you charges mobile then you gets up to nearly 50 percent. The company however claims a more aggressive 60 percent power with just 15 minutes of charging which could be possible in ideal situations.

Motorola has done a great job by switching to a metal body instead of plastic bodies. In result there is improvement in quality of the device and look like a premium phone. G5 Plus is better than its last Variant G4 Plus. There is more to all the good things of Moto G4 Plus.

 

Its design looks like the expensive Moto Z smartphone. Those who want to buy good phones at low budget will like it. It is a Value for Money Smartphone for Rs 16,999. You can also consider purchasing the Wave Honor 6X (Grey, 64GB) in the same range.
