Maruti Suzuki Celerio Review

If you are thinking of buying a low-cost car, then there was a considerable lack of options besides CNG. Some cars such as Chevrolet Beat and the Hyundai i10, equipped with small diesel engines, tried to remove this shortcoming. Now Maruti has tried to give a more economical option by taking 800 cc diesel engine equipped with Celerio. Lets have a look on the 2019 Maruti Suzuki Celerio Diesel review.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio Exterior

Maruti Celerio diesel, Celerio is no different from petrol, but for a diesel badging. It gets the same bold and curvy design that the company calls CICO (curve in, curve out) style, and the same happy face – wide smiley grill spread by Swipbackback Headlamps – as its petroling. Stylized Front Bumper with Contemporary Air Dam and Character Lines on Bonnit See Contemporary Yet it remains out of Maruti and it is clear from different angles, especially when seen from behind. Celerio diesel can not be called stylish in the true meaning of the word, but it is definitely functional. Let’s learn how.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio Interior

Step inside and you will realize how big the car is. “The cabin looks almost as big as my swift; In fact, the headroom appears more, “Friend, who is more than 6 feet long, then forgives. Celerio, despite the fact that it is an entry level car, it has a surprisingly good cabin quality. There is a generous headroom, shoulder-room and legroom around. The car is 3,600mm long, 1,600mm wide and 1,560mm high. What really works for the car is a wheelbase of 2,425 mm, which ensures adequate for the passengers behind. This is one of the few small cars, which can accommodate three tall men in the rear (although with some adjustment). The boot space is a decent, but very usable, 235 liter.

Driving position is well. The height of the seat is absolutely correct, the sight around is clear and the A-pillar does not interrupt your approach. The design fabric selected by Maruti is fresh and the dashboard is fresh. It is easy to reach all the buttons and it is good to catch the steering wheel.

The top-end variant we drove is well-equipped. To shift music tracks, to adjust the volume level, make calls and make calls, all we should do is move our thumb-steering mounted controls really well into the car’s work.

Then there is a multi-information display that shows data such as instant fuel-efficiency, average fuel-efficiency, range, etc.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio Engine and Power

This mini diesel engine gives the power of 47 bhp and torque of 125 nm. If you look as a city car, these figures look not only appearing, but in the time of driving this car in the city traffic, you do not feel the power shortage. There is more sound in the engine running than 2 cylinders, but the good thing is that more vibration is not felt inside the cabin. Diesel engine noise in the cabin is not too much filter.

But when we took this car on the highway, we felt a little lack in power. Powerful SUVs and Siddan cars running high speed on the highway look like this weak. But if you use gearshift in a bit of sense, safe overtaking can be done.

Talking about headlines, there is no difference between petrol Celerio. Suspension not only keeps the car stable, but also maintains a ride. From pits of roads to highways, its grip stays on the road. Despite having a small car, space management is good. The front and rear seats of the car get fine headroom and legroom. However, in case of utility space, it remains a little behind.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio Seating Comfortability Is Average

For adults above 6 feet, Maruti Celerio has a good amount of headroom in the front row, thanks to the long height of the car. Seating facility is only average, as little side bolts do little. To support the back. Celerio is not one of the most comfortable cars to drive on long highways, and the small town feels ideal for a drive. It is not at all to sit backwards. Very spacious and comfortable. There is a decent headroom and a minimum legroom for a well-sized adult, although a third passenger will feel cut off in the middle. Apart from this, there is no adjustable headrest in the seats or a basement at the center, which inhibits comfort. During the long journey

Maruti Suzuki Celerio Mileage

Mileage has another plus point. With the ARAI certified mileage of 27.62 kmpl it competes the CNG engined cars.
