The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Baleno is one of the most promising cars from the maker, which is riding on the Indian’s road rapidly, in terms of sales. In last month, the two Japanese automobile makers Toyota and Suzuki has announced their strategic partnership, where these two brands’ Indian subsidiaries agreed to source cars to each other for sale in India. According to the partnership agreement, Maruti Suzuki will share the design of Baleno and Brezza, including their hybrid variants to Toyota. In return, Toyota will offer its Corolla sedan design to Maruti Suzuki. So May be next name Maruti Baleno as Toyoto Baleno.
Maruti Suzuki will add 7.5 lakh units capacity in Gujarat by 2020: Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) is gearing up to add another 7.5 lakh units manufacturing capacity from three production lines in Gujarat plant by 2020, taking the total capacity to over 22.5 lakh units a year, a top company official said today.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno Sale Report Of July 2018
Maruti Suzuki decreased -10.9 percent sale in July 2018 compared to July 2017. Last July, the firm had sold a total of 165,346 units. Now Maruti Suzuki India Limited has sold a total of 164,369 units in July 2018. The total sale includes 154,150 units in domestic market and 10,219 units in other markets. A report has also revealed that highest selling car is Maruti Baleno in July 2018 with 54,567 units.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno Price (GST)
From the July 1, 2017, the GST has been rolled in the tax system. From this, prices of all the variants of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno have been revised.
Delhi ex-showroom price: The starting price for this premium hatchback now starts at Rs 5.26 lakh for Sigma petrol trim, as opposed to Rs 5.28 lakh pre-GST. That’s a modest reduction of Rs 2,000. The Alpha diesel now costs Rs 8.43 lakh against the pre-GST price tag of Rs 8.42 lakh.
Mumbai ex-showroom price: The hatchback now starts at Rs 5.29 lakh, as opposed to Rs 5.58 lakh pre-GST. That’s a reduction of Rs 29,000. The Alpha diesel trim now costs Rs 8.49 lakh compared to Rs 8.91 lakh before GST. That’s a price drop of Rs 42,000.
Do note that prices for insurance are marginally higher, as they are taxed at 18per centinstead of the earlier 15 per cent.

Recently Maruti Baleno was gone trough the European NCAP crash test. Baleno has got a 3-star rating in this test.
Crash test was carried forward and side of Baleno. According to the report, the car was damaged in the front offset crash test but its passenger cabin remained stationary. While there is a good driver safety rating during the Full Wear Rigged Barrier Crash Test. Although it was found during the accident, the driver’s chest could be at risk of injury.
