Jio Phone 2 was launched at Reliance’s annual general meeting. This feature phone is an upgrade version of the Jio Phone that launched in July last year. New phone has been upgraded in terms of design and specification. Popular apps like WhatsApp, Facebook and YouTube will also work in the Jio Phone 2 feature phone. These apps will also be available for all Jio phone users from August 15. The design of Jio Phone 2 is quite inspired by the Blackberry. It has a QWERTY keypad. It is reported that Jio Phone and Jio Phone 2 will be sold simultaneously in the market.

Jio Phone 2 price and release date in India
Jio Phone 2 will be made available in the Indian market from August 15th. It will cost Rs 2,999. Mukesh Ambani, chief of Reliance Industries, announced that from July 21, customers can get the benefit of Jio Phone Monsoon Hungama Offer, which can be purchased by exchanging old feature phones and selling live phone at just Rs 500.

Jio Phone 2 is a dual SIM (Nano) smartphone. It has a 2.4 inch QVGA display. It runs on KAI OS. It has 512 MB of RAM and inbuilt storage is 4 GB. Users will be able to use MicroSD card up to 128GB if needed. This phone has a 2 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. The battery is 2000 mAh. Connectivity features include VoLTE, VoWiFi, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM radio. It supports LTE Cat4 DL: 150Mbps/UL: 50Mbps, and LTE Band 2,5,40, 2G Band 900/1800. In addition to Quarty Keypad, Jio Phone 2 has four-way navigation. It has a different button for voice commands like a live phone.
